CSIR-CBRI provides training to students with good academic record as well as interest and aptitude to work at the institute for partial fulfillment of degree programs.
Short term Internship/Industrial training/Research Work/Dissertation program for the students pursuing Three year Diploma / 3rd/4th year B.Tech./B.E./B.Arch students (4th Semester on-wards) / M.Sc. / M.Tech / M.E. / M.Arch. / MURP Course.
Preference shall be given to students who have secured a minimum of 7.0 CGPA or 70% marks.
Duration of internship:
Diploma: : minimum of 2 month to maximum of 6 months
B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch: : minimum of 2 month to maximum of 6 months
M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch/MURP: : minimum of 3 month to maximum of 1 year
M.Sc./MCA : minimum of 3 month to maximum of 6 months
CSIR-CBRI accepts limited number of trainees. The requests for training can be made through line registration.
Fee Structure
One time fee to be paid by the candidate as per level:
Three year Diploma students : Rs. 500/-
B.Tech./B.E./B.Arch./M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech/M.E./M.Arch./MURP students : Rs. 1,000/-
Accommodation Fee (subject to availability) and electricity charges will be levied extra as per the institute rules.
CSIR-CBRI has limited hostel accommodation for boys & girls (separate) on a chargeable & sharing basis on a “First Come First Serve” basis to the selected trainee student(s). This also includes a table, chair & a single bed without a mattress, pillow, and bedsheets, etc. As per institute norms, the hostel fee /charges will be approximately Rs. 500/- (PM) plus one-time Furnishing Charge of Rs. 1000/-. Further, mess facility is also available in Institute and charges are approximately Rs. 150/- per day which includes breakfast, lunch & dinner.
How to Apply?
Students interested in training towards partial fulfillment of their degree programme, may register themselves online stating their area of interest. The selected candidates will be notified through e-mail separately, following which they would have to deposit the training fees at the time of registration at CSIR-CBRI. The candidate has to ensure uploading of Scanned copy of letter from the Institute stating their course work demands to undergo training.
On availability of seats and depending upon your request, the institute will respond to the candidate. An application from the candidate will follow as confirmation to his/her request. Selection of trainee depends upon the suitability of the candidate and requirement/lab space in the institute.
Students have to make their own arrangement for travel.
