ENGINEERING OF DISASTER MITIGATION AND HEALTH MONITORING FOR SAFE AND SMART BUILT ENVIRONMENT

The goal is to implement damage detection algorithms using multi-scale sensing data from a network of wireless sensors that is scalable and robust, utilizing statistical/Artificial Intelligence (AI) models to quantify the damage state of the structure.

Scope of Work:

1. Literature Review
2. Identification of the Simulation tool
3. Equipment Procurement
4. Feature extraction from sensors data through signal processing and statistical classification to convert sensor data into damage information
5. Development of algorithm for identifying the existence and location of damage in the building
6. Testing of the algorithm with the real data
7. Development of algorithm for identifying the type of damage in the building
8. Testing of the algorithm with the real data
