Design & Development of ARM and FPGA Processor and Sensor Placement Optimization

Objective:
Design of wireless sensor network system (along with sensor placement optimisation) to sense, transmit, analyze and continuously monitor the physical parameters viz. vibration, temperature, humidity, wind speed, crack width and corrosion; which describes the health of building structure.
Scope of Work:
- Study & exploration of commercially available sensors to analyze & monitor physical parameters of building
- Design & implementation of ARM/Microcontroller based WSN system with Commercial sensors
- Design & implementation of FPGA/Processor based WSN system with Commercial sensors
- Design & implementation of FPGA/Processor based WSN system with RTOS with Commercial sensors
- Design of WSN system integrating the sister labs developed sensors with commercial sensors
- Design & Development of Sensor placement optimization algorithm based on Energy & Data communication latency
- Integration of Sensor placement optimization algorithm with ARM/FPGA based WSN system
- Testing of WSN System & Documentation
